The School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana was founded in 1946 within Slovenia's first and largest university, itself established in 1919. It was among the first faculties in the country to introduce internationally comparable Bologna programmes in 2005, and then collected the three great business-school accreditations in sequence — EQUIS in 2006, AACSB in 2010 and AMBA six years later — making it one of only 77 business schools in the world at the time to hold the Triple Crown.
