About Estonian Business School

Estonian Business School was founded in Tallinn in 1988 by Madis Habakuk of Estonia, Marshall Fitzgerald of the United States and the Canadians Rein Peterson and Ilmar Martens — and it holds a remarkable distinction: it was the first higher-education institution in the Soviet Union to offer an English-language business education, born of the openings of perestroika. A private university teaching business from bachelor's to doctoral level, it also runs its own high school and an executive education centre.
