Aarhus BSS — the School of Business and Social Sciences — is one of the four faculties of Aarhus University in Denmark, built in two steps: the Aarhus School of Business, founded in 1939, merged into the university in 2007, and in 2011 it was joined with the Faculty of Social Sciences, making Aarhus BSS one of the largest business schools in Europe. Its seven departments span economics, management, political science, law, psychology and business development, and in 2010 Dale T. Mortensen, a Niels Bohr Visiting Professor at Aarhus, received the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
