CUNEF Universidad is a private Spanish university in Madrid specialising in business and economics, law, mathematics, computer science and digital business. It was founded in 1973 by the Higher Banking Council — today the Spanish Banking Association — as the University College of Financial Studies, and for decades operated as an affiliated centre of the Complutense University of Madrid. Recognised as an independent university in 2019, it began its standalone academic life in the 2021–22 year.
