emlyon business school was established in 1872 with the support of the Lyon Chamber of Commerce, making it one of France's oldest business schools. A grande école long known as ESC Lyon, it opened its Écully campus in 1972, took the emlyon name era by era, and in 2018 converted into a public limited company whose capital is open to alumni, employees and the investment funds Bpifrance and Qualium. Triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA) and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, it operates campuses in Lyon, Paris, Shanghai and Mumbai, teaching from the Global BBA and Master in Management to an MSc in Finance, MBA and PhD.
