Ivey Business School is the business school of Western University in London, Ontario: business courses were first taught at Western in 1922, and the school was officially created in 1950 as a separate faculty. It was renamed after Richard G. Ivey in 1995, following an $11 million donation from the Ivey family. A pioneer among Canadian schools, in 1998 it became the first North American business school to open a campus in Hong Kong, and in 2010 the first in North America to join the CEMS Global Alliance, alongside schools such as HEC Paris, St. Gallen and Bocconi.
