The Stephen J.R. Smith School of Business is the business school of Queen's University at Kingston, and its undergraduate roots are the deepest in the country: Queen's launched its business programme in 1919, making it the oldest Bachelor of Commerce in Canada, and Beatrice Eakins became the first woman to earn an undergraduate business degree, graduating in 1922. The MBA arrived in 1960 and the school became its own faculty in 1963; it was the first programme in Ontario accredited by the AACSB, in 1998. From Goodes Hall it now runs degrees from the BCom to a double degree with Peking University's Guanghua School and an EMBA Americas with Cornell.
