About University of Oxford (Saïd)

Saïd Business School is the University of Oxford's school for business, management and finance. Oxford's business education dates to 1965 and the Centre for Management Studies (later Templeton College); after a 1988 committee chaired by Claus Moser recommended a dedicated school, the Oxford School of Management Studies took its first students in 1993. It became Saïd Business School in 1996, on a £28 million donation from Wafic Saïd, and its Park End Street building opposite the railway station opened in 2001, joined by the Thatcher Business Education Centre in 2012 and an executive-education centre at Egrove Park. Graduate teaching sits alongside Oxford's undergraduate Economics and Management course.
