Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics is the business school of the Catholic University of Portugal. Its first undergraduate programme in management dates to 1972, two years before the Carnation Revolution; the school took its present shape in 1989, when the business and economics departments merged. The MBA arrived in 1991, executive education in 1992, and its first foreign executive programme opened in Angola in 1997. 2007 was its watershed year: the first Bologna-designed MSc, the launch of The Lisbon MBA, Triple Crown accreditation, and the first appearance of a Portuguese business school in the Financial Times ranking.
