ISEG — Lisbon School of Economics and Management is the faculty of economics and management of the University of Lisbon, located in the Estrela parish on the Campus do Quelhas. Founded on 23 May 1911 as the Instituto Superior de Comércio, it traces its origins to the Aula do Comércio established in 1759 by the Marquês de Pombal, and passed through several names before adopting its current one in 1989.
