About ESMT Berlin
ESMT Berlin — the European School of Management and Technology — was founded on 31 October 2002 by 25 multinational corporations and institutions that wanted to break with traditional German executive education and build a more international business school. The founders invested some €65 million in its foundation; programmes ran in Munich while the Berlin campus was completed in 2006, the year its first students graduated. Authorised as a private university by the Berlin Senate and empowered to award doctorates since 2013, ESMT is one of only four German schools holding the triple accreditation of EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.
