About Hawaii Shidler
The Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa was established in 1949, opening in Hawaiʻi Hall with courses in accounting, economics and industrial relations, and it remains the state's only public business school with graduate, executive and PhD programmes. Renamed after Jay H. Shidler in 2006 following his $25 million donation, the AACSB-accredited school leans into its mid-Pacific position: alongside its MBA and specialised master's degrees, it runs a Global MBA with tracks in China, Japan and Vietnam.
