About Illinois Gies (MSF)
The Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign was approved by the university senate in 1914 at the request of David Kinley, later president of the university, and officially formed in 1915 with three departments. Today it enrols over 3,000 undergraduate and more than 3,000 postgraduate students, with an alumni network exceeding 84,000 worldwide, and both the college and its Department of Accountancy are separately accredited by AACSB International.
