The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Montana State University in Bozeman has taught business since the institution's very first catalogue of 1893 announced a division of business — indeed, the first class offered at the new agricultural college was a business course. The curriculum was professionalised over the decades, realigned around accounting, finance, management and marketing in 1975 and accredited in 1981, and the college took its present name after Jake Jabs, an MSU alumnus and CEO of American Furniture Warehouse, donated $25 million in 2011. Its graduate offer includes a Master of Science in Innovation and Management.
