!First-level specialising master, 60 ECTS: it runs one year and is not a two-year Master of Science (120 ECTS). It is a recognised qualification, but in Italy it does not replace the laurea magistrale: it gives no access to a PhD and counts for less in public competitions.

For students whose family income and assets (ISEE) are below the thresholds set by the university's region, foreign passports included. A cash grant (national minimums for 2026/27: €2,890 living at home, €4,190 commuting, €7,171 living away), a full or partial fee waiver and often housing and meals. You apply to the regional right-to-study agency or to the university.

Only for citizens of 23 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Mexico and Türkiye. The next call opens in 2027.

POLIMI Graduate School of Management is the business school of the Polytechnic University of Milan. Established in 1979 as MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business, it took its current name in May 2022. It operates inside the Politecnico's School of Management — formally created in 2003 together with DIG, the Department of Management Engineering (founded 1990) — and is organised as a not-for-profit consortium whose shares are held by the Politecnico, Assolombarda and 22 Italian and multinational companies. The school has held B Corp certification since 2020 and offers MBA and Executive MBA programmes, specialised master's degrees and executive education, with research spanning management, applied economics and industrial engineering.
