The Yale School of Management is the graduate business school of Yale University, one of the six Ivy League business schools. Its precursor, the Department of Industrial Administration, conferred degrees from 1958 to 1973; a 1971 gift from Frederick W. Beinecke established a management programme whose first class arrived in 1976, earning a distinctive master's in public and private management. Historically strong in nonprofit and public-sector studies, it became the Yale School of Management in 1994 and adopted the MBA in 1999. Its Master's in Asset Management extends a tradition consolidated since Edward P. Evans Hall opened in 2014, alongside exchanges with HEC Paris, IESE, LSE and NUS.
